Encaustic Artistry 

Encaustic, an ancient Greek and Egyptian oil-based medium is formulated with specific proportions of beeswax and natural fossilized resin.  From this medium each of my unique artworks are created with a variety of suspended textures and pigments which I fuse into many translucent layers.  These final works cure into ever-enduring archival paintings, preserving a stratum of visual depth with lustrous and sculptural interest.  My encaustic paintings chronicle a story of subjective elements destined to become one with the beauty I find in nature.
